I really should keep up with this more often, but I just haven't had the time!! And nothing has seemed fairly interesting that I've done so far! haha
But I will update soon with some cute clothes I've found in the swap box of my dorm floor. Later though!
For now, THE HOBBIT!!
I am a very very big LOTR/ Tolkien fan. So when I heard of The Hobbit movie, I knew I had to go see it.
I always wanted to go to midnight premieres of movies, mostly Harry Potter, but I was too young and my parents wouldn't let me go.
Until high school! Heheh. I went to the Deathly Hallows premiere, part one, when I was a senior. Everyone in my school went, practically. I dressed as Luna! Surprisingly, I was recognized at a mall a few months later, despite going to a different state to watch the movie with my friends haha
I also went to the Deathly Hallows part two premiere, with my good friends. We pre-gamed, showed up around 3pm and camped outside the theater. We weren't even the first people there. We brought with us all flavors of jelly beans, butterbeer, and more! It was a lot of fun. All of us dressed up too.
Apparently the area was very into HP haha There was even an Ollivander's Shop set up where you could buy wands. It was really cool to experience the end of Harry Potter with so many fans.

This year, my New York City friends invited me to see The Hobbit and experience the premiere with them. I am beyond excited. And, of course, since we're all cosplayers, I was asked to be Merry for my friend Gianna's Pippin. ^-^
I really couldn't deny the offer, and I'd already begun working on a hobbit costume anyway. I originally intended to be Frodo, but to have a Pippin~~ definitely :>
It's a blurry webcam picture, but here is what I've made so far! Still need to make the vest and do something about hairy over-sized feet. And maybe a prop. Gianna bought a pipe and I can't stop laughing about it. It'll be great. I might just bring oodles of breads and stuff.
This vest is just to get the idea across. I've finished the pants and cape now!
